Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct services to students in a K-8 school setting in Arvada, CO. The role is a contract position lasting from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with flexible hours available ranging from part-time to full-time (37.5-40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across grades K through 8.
- Manage a caseload of 35-40 students, including those with mild/moderate and moderate/severe speech and language needs.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and make referrals as necessary.
- Participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings, providing consultative support.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a current license (SLP-CCC, preferably with CDE licensure).
- Experience working in a school environment with K-8 students.
- Ability to handle a mixed caseload with varying levels of student needs.
- Open to providing onsite services; currently considering applicants with SLPA and CFY status.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required to manage direct therapy and documentation.
